Building on a previous EDC’s workshop on “knowing how our brain learns” in 2021, this session aims to bring together some of the pioneering research currently underway within PolyU using neuroscience to inform teaching and learning practices and develop us into better problem-solvers. Educators from three disciplinary fields will showcase how they leverage brain science for effective learning.

After this sharing session, you will be able to:

  1. Identify key brain regions and their functionality and reflect on their importance to learning
  2. Understand how different neuroimaging technologies can provide a deeper understanding of how the brain works
  3. Open up further conversations on how neuroscience can advance your teaching practices
