Beijing Zhonghangzhi Technology Co., Ltd is a company specializing in the design of UAVs for the military. They contributed in military aircraft development since they can apply unmanned aircraft in combat, search and security operation.

During the placement, I participated in the experiment department of their research center. My assignment is to assist the research officer to find out the required parameters before designing the UAV and installing the control systems. During the experiment, I participated in testing the motor’s inertia by using three-wire pendulum to find out the period needed, I helped to calculate the period of rotation for the motor and helped to set up the experiment. This opportunity enable me to know more about how research were conducted by using different methods. Although I have studied the related knowledge in school, I only knew the some basic theories. With this experiences, I could learn the practical methods used in the industry.
