I worked as a software engineer at Tuniu Corporation, a travel agency, in Nanjing. During the internship, one of my responsibilities was to help to improve and find the bugs inside the systems, then write a detail report to the system development team.

During the internship, I learnt a lot of things from my two mentors. The first mentor taught me how to figure out the feasibilities of customer requirements and how to write a detailed requirement plan to the coding team. The second mentor taught me about the well-developed and well-structured systems inside the company. She also gave me tasks relating to the system administrations and maintenances, allowing me to have clear understandings on the strengths and weaknesses of the systems.

I’m sure this experience will help me better prepare for my future career after my graduation. If I have a chance, I would like to try another internship like this.
