Through work-based learning experiences which take place in BDP International Limited (China) to develop the generic skills that will be valuable in logistic industry.

During the internship period, I was assigned to work in the Air Freight Department. My team manager completed a comprehensive training to ensure that we were well versed in the strict regulations and demanding environment of air cargo. My main duties were dealing with non-hazardous and dangerous goods handling, inspections, fulfilling governmental compliance, and providing specialized hand carry solutions.

Being a member of the Air Freight Department enhanced my self-confidence when I completed a task, because I did have contribution to the company. Colleagues in my department were very willing to teach me the operation of our Department and actively helped me integrate into the company's environment. Thus, I built a harmonious relationship with them. This is a great opportunity to understand the work environment and culture of a multinational corporation.
