The Foryon Group is an integrated financial service provider in areas including but not limited to Internet finance, wealth management, credit business, asset operation, and real estate investment management. During the internship, I was tasked to check the formality and mistakes in vouchers. I also attended some sharing sessions by experienced professionals on private equity products, insurance exchange sessions, and other activities.
“What you learn in college is not only knowledge but also the ability to learn on your own.” I got inspiration from this quote and remind myself throughout the internship that I needed to be diligent in my work, take my time to figure things out, and keep learning and accumulating experience. When I encountered something that I did not understand, I would try to solve it by myself first, and then humbly asked others how to improve my self-taught ability.
This internship experience has played a transitional role and built a solid foundation for my transition from college to society. I noticed that I do have many shortcomings. Practice is the only way to test the truth. I will benchmark my future work against this internship so that I will be able to develop better professionally.
