My internship company is Shanghai DLD Logistics. It provides professional integrated supply chain logistics services for manufacturing and distribution sectors.
During the internship, my main duties and responsibilities were handling document processing in relation to logistics safety and warehouse management. For example, we needed to provide support in handling logistics operation process and assist in maintaining or checking proper records and files of all relevant documents. Besides, our group needed to provide support in planning analysis on the best route to the designated field sites. There was a project assigned to my group about warehouse inventory management and improving the efficiency of inbound and outbound management in a raw material warehouse. We needed to find out the weaknesses of the existing system and design solutions to address the problem of wasting the space and time.
I had a better understanding of the operation in a logistics company and the daily running of the business. We were divided into different groups and responsible for different projects. I was able to handle the daily tasks and the project well.
