International Cultural Festival

International Cultural Festival 2023

The inaugural International Cultural Festival attracted over 6,000 individuals, including 40 esteemed Consulate General guests, with more than 10 Consuls General. Additionally, we secured the sponsorship of over 25 organisations.

A total of 1,143 survey responses were received, showing that attendees thoroughly enjoyed diverse activities, top-notch performances, and an inclusive atmosphere.

International Cultural Festival 

 

The 2023 International Cultural Festival is a momentous occasion for The Hong Kong Polytechnic University, reflecting the institution's commitment to providing a well-rounded education for students. As the university's inaugural international cultural exchange event, the festival offers a unique platform for students to broaden their perspectives and deepen their understanding of global cultures.

 

Spanning 11 days, the festival presents a diverse range of cultural exhibits, performances, and activities, allowing students to fully immerse themselves in numerous countries' rich traditions and encounter the vibrancy of cultural diversity firsthand. The festival promises to be a unique and enriching experience, enabling students to engage with individuals from varying backgrounds, learn new things, and foster a deeper appreciation for cultural diversity.

Purpose and Goals

Prospect

Provides a distinctive prospect for individuals from varied backgrounds to encounter and appreciate the diversity of global cultures.

Harmony

Promotes peaceful coexistence, mutual understanding, and harmony among individuals of various cultural and religious backgrounds.

Diversity

Relish cultural exhibitions, live performances, traditional dances, craft demonstrations, and culinary samplings from across the globe.
