I graduated with a PhD in Occupational Therapy from PolyU’s Department of Rehabilitation Sciences in 2011 under the supervision of Prof. David Man.  I have successfully completed numerous research and development (R&D) projects that are of high applicability and sustainability and am leading companies in impactful knowledge transfer.  I set up my own company, C2 Innovations & Research Ltd., in 2011, ....

The PhD study at the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, School of Design was undoubtedly one of the most important part of my life. The programme has equipped me with sufficient knowledge and skillset to pursue a dream career path. Most importantly, the training has continued to nurture me in-generating new knowledge to further impact the visually impaired community.

I am a senior data scientist at Bayer.  After obtaining the PhD at PolyU, I worked as postdoc at the Singapore University of Technology and Design and at the Computer Science and Artificial Intelligence Lab of MIT (CSAIL), in the group of Regina Barzilay.....

I am currently an assistant professor at the Institute of Linguistics in Chinese Academy of Social Sciences (CASS).  I obtained my PhD degree in 2018 and my thesis entitled “Synaesthesia, Metaphor, and Cognition: A Corpus-Based Study on Synaesthetic Adjectives in Mandarin Chinese” received the Faculty’s Distinguished Thesis Award for PhD Students 2017/2018.....
