PolyU welcomes the Chief Executive’s recent Policy Address, which laid out comprehensive policies and measures for strengthening Hong Kong’s innovation and technology (I&T) ecosystem, enhancing the talent pool, improving people’s livelihood, and fostering the city’s participation in the Nation’s development.
The University is also encouraged by the newly published China’s 20th Party Congress Report, which outlined the distinctive role and enormous opportunities of Hong Kong in national development under the “one country, two systems” principle.
As the largest research platform in the Greater Bay Area, PAIR will continue to make unremitting effort in promoting the Nation’s new industrialisation, accelerating the building of a digital China with strengths in aerospace and transportation, expediting the planning and construction of a novel energy system, as well as the striving for carbon peak and carbon neutrality.
