Regarding generalized pustular psoriasis (GPP), it is a rare chronic skin disease. It differs from the plaque psoriasis commonly referred to as psoriasis. During GPP flare-ups, painful pustules appear suddenly on a large area of the body, and symptoms such as fever may accompany them. Currently, the medical community has not fully understood the exact causes of GPP, but it may be triggered by factors such as stress, certain medications, or pregnancy.
School of Fashion and Textiles is joining the Hong Kong Psoriasis Patients Association for a fashion design competition.
Through this fashion design competition, we hope that participants can utilize their design talent, creativity, and technical skills to create works that allow the general public to experience what it feels like for patients with generalized pustular psoriasis.
