Awarded Research Projects
The Support Programme for Service-Learning Action Research was established under CoP-SLHE to promote an evidence-based, critically reflective approach to teaching service-learning. Awardees from the 4 participating institutions have been supported with small grants to conduct research that investigates a particular issue in their SL subjects, and the impact of a proposed intervention.
The action research projects consist of two cycles. In the first cycle, awardees collected and analysed data to address their research questions and the findings would help to formulate an improvement action plan. In the second cycle of the research projects, the improvement actions will be implemented and the effectiveness of the new practices will be examined.
