Project Title
Innovative Visual Assessment Techniques for Full Spectrum Visual Function Evaluation

Synopsis

Visual function disorders affect the quality of life. Early and accurate diagnosis and screening of visual function are crucial for timely intervention and treatment. However, traditional methods for visual function assessment often have limitations, such as subjectivity, limited scope of measurement, and the need for specialized equipment and trained personnel. In recent years, there have been some innovative technologies, such as virtual reality (VR) and augmented reality (AR), which could create immersive environments for visual evaluation and may overcome conventional limitations. This study aims to develop and validate novel visual assessment methods for the full spectrum visual function evaluation.
