CHU Hiu Tung
The WIE programme allowed Hiu Tung to apply the theories and concepts from the lectures to the real world. As a business student, it is very important to equip oneself with hands-on experience, especially in marketing and management; the concepts from lectures will only be concepts without actual application. The WIE programme offered Hiu Tung a chance to leave the classroom and learn on the job, applying those theories learnt in class to the field of human resources management.
LIU Xinyi
Enjoy Town is a service enterprise specialising in engineering consultancy, with professional consultancy qualifications in highway, construction, and municipal public works. Xinyi was an Intern in the Research Department. She visited three communities to examine the spatial resources of their architectural landscape and conduct field community research.
YANG Lei
As a year one student, instead of choosing another summer activity, Lei chose to apply for an internship. She wanted to learn more about the job nature of the hotel and hospitality industry. She received the opportunity to work at Chaptel Hotel, Hangzhou, a unique luxury hotel adjacent to West Lake.
