I am glad to have been one of the participants of Shanghai WIE programme 2018. The employer provided a harmonious working environment for me to develop relationships with coworkers and understand the business cultures in the Mainland. Furthermore, this trip is very beneficial as it helped me stand out to potential employers, which is an important step in entering the aviation industry and developing my career path.

During my internship, I managed to enhance my Putonghua skills significantly through immersing myself in my duties, such as translating the resumes of overseas professionals for shortlisting. One unforgettable experience was seeing for myself the C919 aircraft, the first Chinese-built medium-sized aircraft, during my guided tour for a visit of schools.

The trip made me realize that I have interest in and potential for the recruitment field. Employees are treasurable assets to corporations especially airline companies.
