Congratulations to Miss LEE Hoi Yin, a PhD student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering (ME) has achieved the Best Presentation Award at the 2nd PolyU Research Student Conference (PRSC 2024) held on 29 to 30 August 2024.

Under the supervision of Dr David NAVARRO-ALARCON, Associate Professor of ME, Miss LEE has demonstrated distinctive academic presentation and research communication skills, through her presentation, titled "Non-Prehensile Tool-Object Manipulation by Integrating LLM-Based Planning and Manoeuvrability-Driven Controls". Hoi Yin has recently graduated with a PhD and is now a Research Assistant in the Department.

Aiming at promoting innovative and high-quality research, PRSC is the flagship research student conference, providing Research Postgraduate (RPg) students and the students of College of Undergraduate Researchers and Innovators (CURI) in PolyU with the opportunity to present their research work and findings. PRSC also provides an excellent opportunity for students from different disciplines to network with peers, and establishes a collaborative and supportive research community at PolyU.
