The Hong Kong National Security Law
The Law of the People's Republic of China on Safeguarding National Security in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (also known as the Hong Kong National Security Law or NSL) has been implemented in Hong Kong on 30 June 2020‚ it aims to effectively prevent four types of offenses that endanger national security‚ namely secession‚ subversion‚ terrorist activities and collusion with a foreign country or with external elements to endanger national security‚ the Central Government formulated the law on safeguarding national security in the HKSAR‚ which is to restore stability to Hong Kong society‚ regain economic and people’s livelihood development‚ and get out of the predicament.
