作者總結其二十餘年來研究的中國語文評估的部分研究成果,相繼出版「促進學習的語文評估」四本專著。《促進學習的聽說評估》主要闡釋聽說、口語交際的性質、過程以及促進學習的評估特點,探討聽說能力及評估指標,建構與課程發展、學生發展需要相配合的評估體系,設計有效的聆聽、說話及口語交際的評估類型、方法,發展口語交際及特殊的評估形式,述評美國、新加坡及香港聽說評估框架及工具。
