Black phosphorus is one of promising 2D materials that has huge potential for the development of information industry.
The research team of AP, Prof. JH Hao, the corresponding author, PhD Student Zehan Wu, the first author, Prof. Daniel S.P. Lau, the co-author and others achieved a revolutionary breakthrough of the size of black phosphorus by pulsed laser deposition. The size of few-layer black phosphorus is greatly increased from dozens of micrometres to the centimetre scale. The result paves the way for further developing BP-based wafer-scale devices with potential applications in the information industry.
The research has been online-published on Nature Materials.
