Sitting at the heart of heavily urbanized Hong Kong, the PolyU campus is well developed and fully equipped with different facilities to meet the needs of students, staff members, visitors, and the public. In addition to serving its core functions of learning, teaching and research, it supports knowledge and information exchange in a distinctively communal environment. In line with the University’s development strategies as outlined in its Strategic Plan 2012/13 - 2017/18 and its various governing policies including Campus Sustainability Policies, we have responsibly managed campus environmental performance and proactively communicated with supply chain agents to ensure full compliance with environmental laws and regulations. No significant cases of fines, non-compliance, or complaints were recorded during the reporting period. We will continue to adopt the latest environmental technologies and standards in new projects for campus expansion and renovation.
