Yiwei obtained her Ph.D. from the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University in 2024.  She also holds an M.Phil. degree from the Department (2022), a Master’s degree at Shanghai University (2020), and a Bachelor’s degree at Shanghai Maritime University (2017).

Yiwei’s research interests include shipping operations management, green shipping, and logistics and supply chain management.  Focusing on these topics, she has published papers in reputable journals, including Production and Operations Management, Transportation Research Part B/E, International Journal of Production Economics, etc.  During her Ph.D. study, she visited Erasmus University for six months and National University of Singapore for six months as an exchange student.

She is also an active reviewer for several journals, such as Transportation Research Part B/E/A, Advanced Engineering Informatics, Transportation Research Record, and Maritime Policy & Management.
