Applied Event Management Course
The Applied Event Management course provides a comprehensive approach to understanding the aspect of designing, planning, and the execution of live events. The program will cover the production and promotion of functions, such as festivals, concerts, drama and dance, seminars, talks, gala dinner and charity events at both indoor and outdoor settings.
Purpose:
- Students will learn the essence of event management and acquaint themselves with possible issues in the organization of various live programmes.
- Practical exercises throughout the course will help students grasp the concepts discussed in class, and apply them in mock-up events.
* Please note that there has been be a change in class schedule due to unforeseen circumstances. The class schedule will be shifted backward by one week.

Ms Angela Lee A veteran in the field, Angela has managed and produced numerous large scaled events across the globe from Canada to the Middle East to Asia. She loves to share her expertise on how to juggle the exciting matrix of events management, be it program design, production, logistics and operations, safety and administrations as well as the know-how’s of mobilization (of over a thousand staff and performers). Belted with a degree in Architectural Science, Angela soon found her true calling in the behind the scenes world of live events and never looked back. Angela has a creative young son and she plays several instruments herself, but never mastered any particular one. |
