Each year, PolyU acknowledges exceptional students through the presentation of the Outstanding Student Awards (OSA) and Presidential Student Leadership Awards (PSLA), recognising their exemplary academic performance, exceptional leadership
skills, notable achievements in extracurricular activities, and dedication to community service. Their achievements are worth sharing and celebrating. To build a bridge connecting our excellent students, the University established the Outstanding Student Academy (the Academy) in 2024.
The Academy is established to tap into the talent of these exceptional students, provide ongoing support and nurture their development throughout their university journey. It also seeks to inspire the entire student population through their impactful stories and achievements.
The Academy consists of the recipients of the Outstanding Student Awards (OSA) and Presidential Student Leadership Awards (PSLA). Awardees will instantly be granted membership in the Academy and will serve as Executive Committee members (ExCo members). Members are engaged in tailored activities and receive targeted support designed specifically for them.
