Mechanical engineering students Li Man-kit, Siu Siu-wai and Tsang Chee-fung designed a compact battery-powered fully-automated projectile manufacturing system that won them a first runner-up place at the 2016 American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Student Design Competition, under the theme “Manufacturing the future”.
