Honouring Excellent Teaching & Award-Winning Teachers

PolyU is committed to the enhancement of teaching, and values faculty members’ contributions and achievements in teaching. Every year the University pays tribute to the staff who have demonstrated excellent teaching through teaching awards at University, Faculty/ School and Department levels. Since 2011, PolyU has actively participated in nominations for the UGC Teaching Award, which was established as a token of appreciation and recognition of the staff who have outstanding performance and achievements in teaching in the local higher education sector. The number of global and regional teaching awards received by the teachers of PolyU also speaks volumes about the worldwide recognition of the University’s performance in learning and teaching.
