Aims
The Competition aims to provide participants with:
- A good understanding of the significance of business education in the digital age
- Hands-on experience of using technologies to solve real-world business problems
- An understanding of the disciplines of studies offered by the Faculty of Business, PolyU, properly known as PolyU Business School.
Highlights
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Meet with and learn from executives of a Fortune Global 500 company. In particular, they will:
- Learn how to leverage technology advancements to solve a business challenge related to the company
- Meet executive(s) from the local branch of the company
- Develop a proposal for the company's business challenge and receive instant feedback
- Join dedicated technology training
- Win a cash prize
Eligibility
We encourage local and non-local students who are in the following years of studies in 2024/25 to join our Competition individually or in teams:
- Secondary 4 or 5
- Grade 10 or 11 (US System)
- Year 11 or 12 (UK System)
- Senior high school year 1 or 2 in the Chinese Mainland
Important note:
- Eligible students can either join the Competition individually or in teams. Each student can only join one team, but schools can enter multiple teams without restrictions.
- There are two stages of competition. Only those successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 can enter Stage 2. For contesting teams, all members must successfully complete all the tasks in Stage 1 in order for the teams concerned to enter Stage 2.
