Dr Sun Qinghe is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Logistics and Maritime Studies at The Hong Kong Polytechnic University. Prior to this, she obtained her Ph.D. from the Institute of Operations Research and Analytics at the National University of Singapore and a B.Sc. in Maritime Studies (1st Class Hons) from Nanyang Technological University.

Her research focuses on devising designs and operational strategies in the fields of maritime studies, transportation, and logistics management. Her work emphasizes the value of data in developing new models and algorithms that not only have academic value but are also robust and practically relevant for real-world applications.
