Biography
Kelvin Cheng leads the Careers and Placement Section to support SAO in facilitating students’ career development. Driven by his passion for promoting students’ all-round development, Kelvin prides himself on developing new strategies for and managing the implementation of various programmes/schemes/initiatives/events like internship programmes, graduate employment schemes, mentorship programmes, career fairs, etc. In addition, Kelvin builds a robust connection between PolyU and companies/organisations/institutions across the globe in order to provide holistic education experience to students.

Kelvin Cheng leads the Careers and Placement Section to support SAO in facilitating students’ career development. Develop strategies for the University’s student development, resources, and support services Ensure high-quality services, creating synergy between SAO and other academic/non-academic units for the holistic development of students, and aligning the University’s programmes with the needs of the community Support students in career planning and development through the provision of a wide range of resources and services Empower students to pursue rewarding careers and make positive impacts on society Facilitate employers’ recruitment of PolyU students/graduates with a view to creating values for industry sectors and the community as a whole
