Abilities Unbound: Human Library for Supporting Diverse Workplace Needs

The “Abilities Unbound: Human Library for Supporting Diverse Workplace Needs”, held on 15 November 2024, was remarkably successful with an attendance of over 50 representatives of 30 organisations/companies from different sectors and industries.

Kick-started by Professor James Dai, Acting Dean of Students, the Event aimed at enhancing employers’ understanding of good practices for embracing inclusive employment and encouraging recruitment of students with diverse needs. We would like to express our gratitude to both Mr Walter Tsui, MH, Co-founder and CEO of CareER, for actualising the Event’s goal by offering his insights into workplace diversity, equity, and inclusion, and particularly the four PolyU students for sharing personal stories about their fruitful experiences and diverse needs in the workplace.
