The Luncheon was held on 26 July 2024 for PolyU to express gratitude to all the members and supports of our Inclusive Employer Network (IEN), which aims at enhancing employers’ capacity for recruiting PolyU students with diverse needs, and for participating guests to gather and share insights into the latest development in the realm of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) recruitment. More than 70 guests joined the event, including representatives from various companies/organisations such as AECOM, Hang Lung Properties Limited, Hong Kong Disneyland, HSBC, and WSP (Asia).
Ms Doris TSUI, Head (Policy, Research and Training) of the Equal Opportunities Commission kick-started the Event by an inspiring themed talk on good practices of further enhancing workplace DEI within the legal framework. Tokens of appreciation were presented to IEN members and partners to recognise their continued support for promoting the career development of PolyU students with diverse needs, followed by a luncheon where insights were exchanged among the guests.
