Throwback to the wonderful "Cultural Night Series 2024"!
The "Cultural Night Series 2024" in Semester Two was a resounding triumph in celebrating diversity and unity on our campus! Over the course of five fantastic nights, the Series showcased a rich tapestry of global cultures , featuring diverse customs, performances, games, and cuisine presented by our non-local student associations. 780+ participants from various backgrounds engaged with the vibrant cultural landscape of the PolyU community.
Bridging cultures and forging friendships at the International Fairytale Night, local and non-local students came together in joyful celebration. At IndoNight, the Indonesian Wayang Shadow puppets brought the audience to life with their performance. The vibrant rhythms of South Asian dance filled the air at the South Asian Night, inviting everyone to sway and groove. Savoring the rich flavours of Malaysian cuisine, the senses were delighted at the Malaysian Night. The joyful experience of donning Kazakh cultural attire at the Qazaq Night "Nauryz" brought a sense of global unity, as participants immersed themselves in the rich cultural heritage.
This unique platform fostered cross-cultural understanding and inclusivity, allowing local and non-local students to forge connections and friendships. The Series enriched PolyU's cultural fabric, contributing to a vibrant, harmonious, and internationalised community.
