Breakfast with Dean of Students

To welcome back the ExCo members of the Outstanding Student Academy (the “Academy”), a breakfast gathering with the Deans of Students was held at the Hung Hom Halls’ canteen in January.

Our Academy ExCo members enjoyed a delightful time with Prof. Albert Chan (the former Dean of Students), Prof. Horace Mui (the Interim Dean of Students) and Miss Joyce Cheung (Section Head of the Student Resources and Support Section of Student Affairs Office). This gathering provided a relaxed platform for our members to not only share updates on their academic progress, but also gave them the opportunity to exchange ideas and engage directly with the Deans.

During the breakfast gathering, Exco Members were invited to exchange ideas on how the Student Affairs Office could enhance its support to our members in achieving their goals. The discussions covered a wide range of topics, from academic support and extra-curricular activities and community engagement. The gathering had fostered a stronger connection between the Exco Members and the two Dean of Students. The insights gained and the relationships strengthened during this gathering will undoubtedly contribute to the continued success and growth of the Academy.
