AIA Foundation established the AIA Scholarships in 2020 and pledged US$100 million to support 100 full-time local undergraduates per academic year to attend Hong Kong’s universities over the next several decades.
The Foundation aims to sponsor Hong Kong’s best and brightest students with a track record of academic excellence and community service to pursue university education in Hong Kong. The Scholarships are awarded to outstanding local undergraduate students, helping them to optimize their university experience and encouraging them to give more back to the local community. AIA Scholars will receive an award of HK$50,000 each year throughout their undergraduate studies.
A virtual Ceremony was held on 7 April 2021 with the following 14 outstanding full-time first-year undergraduate degree students from various disciplines joining Ceremony.
