There is clear division of roles and responsibilities between the Council and Management.
The Council, as the governing body of the University, is responsible for the overall direction of the Institution, with the power to make policies and monitor their proper execution for achievement of the institutional mission. The Council is not involved in the day-to-day executive management of the University.
The Senior Management team, under the leadership of the President, is responsible for the day-to-day management of the University and the effective implementation of policies and strategies approved by the Council. The President is required to report to the Council on major institutional affairs in a timely manner.
