How Games Unite All

Intergenerational gaming has created moments of fun and connection at the PolyU Alumni Atrium. Students from SAO Chess and Boardgames Club celebrated a head start on the exchange of wisdom, among the pioneers to witness the official launch of the Alumni Chess and Boardgames Club on 17 February 2025.

PolyU SAO Chess and Boardgames Club has been collaborating with the Alumni Affairs Office in strengthening alumni engagement and the student community over the past two years. Our club members have been frequent guests to board games gatherings with alumni from all walks of life. Equally curious about the life experiences of other players, our students have shared plenty of positive feedback as they have gained insights from chatting with fellow graduates across the generations.

The mutual understanding between students and alumni are special and one of a kind. It is an exciting chapter of the PolyU community, thriving with bonding built across generations.
