EAGLE the Adventurers 2023/24

“EAGLE the Adventurers” is a one-year advanced leadership development scheme designed to nurture well-rounded global youth leaders with an innovative mindset, strong ethics and moral values, such that they can contribute to social cohesion and world betterment through actual practice.

During the academic year 2023/24, 23 passionate students from the EAGLE the Adventurers programme received various leadership enhancement training and led self-designed social innovation and co-creation projects to solve community problems in Nepal with original solutions crafted through design thinking. They demonstrated the ingenuity of utilising local resources to tackle local challenges, and co-created sustainable projects with the Nepali students and local community. This transformative experience kickstarted students’ profound personal growth journey, especially in ethics, leadership, and global outlook, and inspired them to pursue a sustainable future through the UNSDGs and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) framework.

Their projects are now being sustained through the efforts of the local community. Apart from nurturing leaders of tomorrow, EAGLE also adds value to the development of PolyU by enriching its international presence in a new Belt and Road country.
