NextSeq 2000 System

The NextSeq 2000 is an advanced Illumina sequencing platform. It supports high throughput sequencing with lower per Gb data cost. Different from the MiSeq system, the NextSeq 2000 applies patterned flow cell design, Exclusion Amplification technology (ExAmp) in cluster generation, and 2-channel sequencing by synthesis (SBS) Blue-Green Chemistry (only blue and green channels were utilized in signal measurement during each cycle), resulting in maximum output and shorter running time. The NextSeq 2000 allows maximum output of 1.2B of reads and 360 Gb for each run.
