The Spectralis OCT device, manufactured in Heidelberg, Germany, is a globally renowned fundus tomography instrument designed for high-resolution imaging of various ocular tissues including the retinal macula, optic disc, and choroid. This device enables precise localization diagnosis and follow-up observations. The Spectralis OCT employs state-of-the-art technologies such as Eye-tracking real-time Eye Tracking and ART real-time overlay noise reduction to ensure accurate scanning and imaging clarity. The primary application of OCT examination lies in the diagnosis and monitoring of numerous ocular conditions such as macular degeneration, macular hiatus, macular anterior membrane, median plasma, uveitis, polypoid choroidal angiopathy (PCV), diabetic retinopathy, and retinal vascular obstruction. Additionally, it serves as a valuable tool for the screening, diagnosis, and follow-up of glaucoma, offering essential diagnostic foundations and treatment guidance within ophthalmic clinics. Overall, the Spectralis OCT device represents a significant advancement in ophthalmic imaging technology, facilitating efficient and precise diagnoses, follow-up assessments, and treatment planning in various eye diseases and conditions.
The product encompasses various components, including the laser ophthalmic diagnostic instrument host, laser scanning camera, software, a 55° lens, additional lenses, a mouse contact lens, an animal adapter, a touch screen, a foot switch, a camera bracket, a patient head bracket, a power/laser box, touch screen connection (HRA2), an isolated power box, and power lines. The laser ophthalmic diagnostic instrument is equipped with the capabilities of angiography and/or optical coherence tomography.
