JASCO J-1500 Circular Dichroism Spectrometer

Introduction:

Circular Dichroism (CD) is a critical analytical technique that is used to analyze chirality in molecules based on their optical activity. This method measures the difference in the absorption of left and right circularly polarized light in optically active substances.

The J-1500 Series Circular Dichroism spectrophotometers are specifically designed for high-sensitivity measurements in the UV/Visible/NIR regions. These instruments are crucial for laboratory research in areas including biology, chemistry, materials science, and medicine, among others, to characterize the structural characteristics of chiral molecules.

With its advanced capabilities, the J-1500 Series Circular Dichroism spectrophotometers are widely used in protein conformational studies, protein folding studies, DNA/RNA interactions, enzyme kinetics, formulation studies, purity testing of optically active substances, quantitative analysis of pharmaceuticals, natural products chemistry, and much more.

At our laboratory, we utilize the J-1500 Series Circular Dichroism spectrophotometers to conduct cutting-edge research in various fields. We believe that these instruments are essential for any researcher working in the areas of life sciences and material sciences.
