Communication with Stakeholders
PolyU believes that effective communication with stakeholders is crucial to enhancing sustainable development and reaching corresponding targets. To collect feedback from stakeholders, diversified channels are made available to enable two-way communication with stakeholders. PolyU continued to collect valuable opinions from the University community and other stakeholders under the influence of the COVID-19 pandemic. For example, Professor Jin-Guang Teng, President of PolyU shared his vision on the University’s development with staff through an online sharing session.

In the preparation of this Report, PolyU commissioned HKPC to conduct a stakeholder engagement exercise in 2020. Targeted at students, academic and non-academic staff, committee members and senior management, funding organisations and industry partners, the exercise organised focus group meetings, individual interviews and a survey to collect stakeholders’ opinions on our sustainability performance in order to facilitate future development.
