We were delighted to have Mr Leung Wang Ching, Clarence, BBS, JP, Under Secretary for Home and Youth Affairs, to deliver a talk at the Youth Development Blueprint Sharing Session held on 7 November. The crowd of students and staff enjoyed the fruitful afternoon with Mr Leung’s insightful presentation.
Mr Leung presented a detailed overview of the Youth Development Blueprint, which was set out by the government. The blueprint focuses on four chapters of youth development: Exploration, Hope, Empowerment, and Contribution. Students and staff had the opportunity to delve deeper into the implications of the blueprint for their own growth and development.
Prof. Albert Chan, Dean of Students of PolyU, expressed his appreciation for Mr Leung’s inspirational speech. He highlighted the significance of the blueprint in nurturing the youth with positive values and attitudes under the perspective of holistic education.
