Introduction

The Healthy Lifestyle Programme (HLS) is a non-credit bearing component of the General University Requirements (GUR) which all students from the 4-Year Degree programmes must complete. The programme aims to introduce the concepts of health and engage you in establishing a healthy lifestyle.

Students should complete the following four components to fulfil HLS:

Completion sequence: Students must start and complete Component 1 – Introductory Lecture in order to proceed to the remaining components. Students can complete Components 2 and 3 in their preferred sequence or concurrently. Students should take Component 1 in Year 1 and preferably, complete HLS within the first two years of study.
